Dr. Rosa Maria Cavazos-Gonzalez, a native of Weslaco, Texas, began journaling her spiritual insights at twelve. She holds degrees from Southwestern A.G. College (now Nelson University), UTRGV (Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance), and Vision University (Doctor of Ministry). Ordained by the Assemblies of God in 1995 and later with Victory New Testament Fellowship, Dr. Gonzalez has served as a pastor, youth pastor, Church Missions director, and Christian Education director. In addition to her church roles, Dr. Gonzalez taught at the Harlingen Network School of Ministry and the Escuela Biblica Nocturna in Pharr, TX. Summertime, during her career as a public-school teacher and counselor, she traveled as an international evangelist and missionary, translating Bible study courses and teaching English in Spain. Dr. Gonzalez is now retired and attends Templo La Hermosa, under the leadership of Robert and Belen Torres.
